Shifting light was a site specific installation created in 2020 at the Ulster University. The installation consisted of a blacked out room, with the exception of one corner of the room that had inverted in on itself, revealing inside a hand built environment made from recycled paper, cardboard, muslin, wood and wire.

This corner was illuminated by a large window over 2 metres tall. The walls and ceiling were covered in fabric, subduing outer sounds as well as making the space feel softer.

The light would shift over the course of the day, making the room feel as though it were almost breathing.
